My name is Bo Delshadian, I am a student of AICS in MYP5C. I have had the idea of creating this project for a while, since the time I was in MYP4C looking at all of the personal projects of the last year. 

I have always had the thought of clean and dirty water, as it is a normal thing in the Netherlands, but how clean is the water in some countries? Water Safety is very important as we need it, and if it is dirty we become sick. This is how I came up with an 'easy to make' water filter so many people can use it to filter unclean water. 

When I started researching the most effective ways to create one, and which ones actually work, it started to dawn upon me that I did not have a lot of knowledge on biological material and what can damage the human body, and what does not. So I had to find out how it works with biology, which took a long time to learn.
