Heading 3
At first, I started to dig in about the dutch system of purifying their water. I was very confident I could find more information on this, and how to make a small version of this that has the same type of effect.
I began testing purifying water with soil, this did not work as well as it did not purify with the water, but mix in and make it undrinkable.Later I started working on the design of my filter. I had to keep in mind that it could have a shape that could trap water inside. One of the big producers of waste are plastic bottles, this waste could be turned into a holder for my filter, and be part of my 'sustainable' part of my plan. I also started doing research on which materials filter water in the best ways.
Personal Interests
I have always been interested in the old days where water was not as clean as today. This had got me wondering that other people are not as well off as us. We drink water every day, for all of our lives and if we do not have it we would die.
Goal
To learn how to create a filter that cleans water, which could potentially be used in areas with no access to clean water.
